Lorraine Higgins, 74, Dickinson, died July 21, 2005, at the home of her daughter. A prayer service will be held at 2 p. m. , Saturday, July 23, 2005 at Price-Murphy Funeral Home, Dickinson. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Price-Murphy Funeral Home. Memorial services are 4 p. m. , Saturday, July 30, 2005 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Longview, WA. Inurnment will be at a later date in Washington. Lorraine Isaacson was born November 21, 1930, in Strandquist, Minnesota to Peter & Vera (Renstrom) Isaacson. The family later traveled to Longview, Wash. when she was to enter high school. Lorraine graduated from R. A. Long High School in 1948. She married Donald H. Higgins on December 31, 1948, in Kelso, Wash. and spent most of her life in Longview, though she lived for short periods in Castle Rock Wash. In 2003, Lorraine moved with her husband, Don to Dickinson, ND to be with her daughter Pat and granddaughter Christi. Lorraine was a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church, Strandquist, MN. , Trinity Lutheran Church, Longview, WA. , Emanuel Lutheran Church, Longview, WA. , and St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Dickinson, ND. Lorraine was active in various groups within these churches. She also was active in PTA and helping various ways at the school her children attended. She enjoyed discussing national politics and news, watching the stock market, garage sales, needlework and most of all, loving her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Lorraine Higgins is survived by: her husband, Donald, Dickinson, ND; three daughters, Patricia Higgins, Dickinson, ND, Pamela (Michael) Collucci, Castle Rock, WA and Penny (Steve) Langdon, Longview, WA. ; one son, Scott (Louise) Higgsin, Port Hueneme, CA; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; her mother, Vera Isaacson, Longview, WA; three sisters, Marian Cantrell, Longview, WA, Sandra (Daniel) Stanley, Longview, WA and Jean (James) Higgins, Anderson, CA. She was preceded in death by; her father, Peter Isaacson; one son, Michael Harrington Higgins, and one granddaughter, Sandra Langdon. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to: St. John Lutheran Church Trust Fund, 146 6th Ave. W. , Dickinson, ND 58601; Heartland Hospice, 30 7th St. W. , Dickinson, ND 58601; Community Home Health and Hospice, 1035 11th Ave, Longview, WA 98632.
