Funeral Services for Lyle Woolston, 49 of Baker will be 11:00 a. m. Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at the American Lutheran Church in Baker with Pastor Danny Winter of the Baker Assembly of God Church, officiating. Burial will follow in the Bonnievale Cemtery in Baker. Visitation will be Monday, April 17, 2006 from 9:00 a. m. to 8:00 p. m. at Stevenson Funeral Home in Baker. Lyle passed away Friday, April 14, 2006 at the Fallon Medical Complex in Baker. He was born August 11, 1956 at Spearfish, SD, the son of Stacy and Alice (Cunningham) Woolston. He grew up and attended rural country school in Carter County and graduated from Carter County High School in 1975. He attended Miles Community College in Miles City where he received his degree in Mechanics. Lyle returned to the family ranch where he was joined later by his brother, Evan. In 1980 he moved to Baker where he began working as a mechanic at various shops. On June 6, 1981, Lyle was married to Julie Rath at Baker. Lyle and Julie made their home in Fallon County where they raised their two children, Jason and Amanda. Lyle worked for Randash Motors as a mechanic for 9 years and then took a position with WBI as a Compressor Operator at the Cabin Creek Plant. Lyle continued working with WBI until his health declined. He loved spending time with his family. Lyle enjoyed teaching Jason and Amanda to fish and hunt and watching them in sports. He restored old tractors and liked to return to the ranch to help his brother with any project. Lyle was a member of the Baker Assembly of God Church, had a deep conviction in his faith and taught his family to love his God. He was a very giving man and shared his love and faith with all. Lyle always thought of others before himself. Survivors include: his wife, Julie, Baker, MT; a son, Jason Woolston, Baker, MT; a daughter, Amanda Woolston (special friend, Adam Wooten), Billings, MT; his mother, Alice Woolston, Billings, MT; a brother, Evan (Cindy) Woolston, Sheridan, WY and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nephews that he was very fond of. He was preceded in death by his father, Stacy Woolston.
