Funeral Liturgy for Magdalen Schmidt, 87, of Dickinson, ND will be 10:00 a. m. , Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson, ND with Father Charlie Heidt celebrating. Burial will be at St. Joseph?s Cemetery, Dickinson, at a later date. Visitation will be from 12:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. on Monday, February 1, 2010 at Stevenson Funeral Home. Magdalen passed away Thursday, January 28, 2010 at St. Benedict?s Health Center, Dickinson, ND. Magdalen ?Maggie? Schmidt was born November 22, 1922 to John and Margaret (Roether) Schmidt in Dickinson, ND. She attended St. Joseph?s Catholic School. Maggie lived with her parents in Dickinson until moving to St. Benedict?s Health Center. She had made her home there for the past 27 years. Maggie was never seen without ?Pauly? and ?Brownie?, her stuffed animals. She always had them with her. Maggie made a lot of friends over the years at St. Benedict?s and will be dearly missed by her St. Benedict?s family. Maggie is survived by her sister, Margaret Anton, South Lake Tahoe, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents.
