Funeral Services for Marabelle Crawford, 76, of Plevna will be 1:00 p. m. , Saturday, February 25, 2006 at the First Baptist Church, Baker, MT with Pastor Levi Durfey officiating. Burial will follow at Bonnievale Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, February 24, 2006, from 10:00 a. m. to 8:00 p. m. at the Stevenson Funeral Home in Baker. Marabelle passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at West View Health Care in Sheridan, WY. Marabelle was born July 9, 1929, the daughter of Clifford and Marie (Kypper) Moody in Ekalaka, MT. She grew up and attended Hay Creek Country School later attending the Baker High School where she graduated in 1947. She was married to Clifford Crawford on October 5, 1946 in Miles City. To this union four children were born: Joan, Chan, Gus and Rick. Due to Clifford?s work, the family moved to many different states and places over the years. Along with raising her family she worked at various jobs through out the years and instilled in in her children a strong work ethic that she and Clifford believed in. She also taught them a Christian way of life and a belief in God. Marabelle enjoyed growing flowers, embroidering, needle work, and traveling. A special time every summer was for a family vacation. Over the years, Cliff and Marabelle visitated almost every state in the union. They also enjoyed spending their winters in the south. Marabelle was a wonderful cook and enjoyed baking for her family and having them all together for family gatherings and holidays. Survivors include: her husband, Clifford of Sheridan, WY; two sons: Chan (Linda) Crawford, Sheridan, WY and Rick (Barbara) Crawford, Gillette, WY; a sister, Bonnie (Relvin) Larson, Baker, MT; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Gus; a daughter, Joan Hollar; two brothers, Clifford and Charles; and three sisters: Helen Patrick, Jean Goroski and Lois Jean Kinsey.
