Margaret passed away Monday, January 17, 2022 in Redding, California.
There are very few moments in our lives where joy and sorrow kiss, where present and eternity meet in a beautiful, mysterious elision. January 17 will forever be imprinted on our hearts as the earthly life of our beloved mother, Margaret Braun, 91of Redding, Ca., formerly of Dickinson, ND, burst out of the cocoon of this earthly flesh to celebrate the freedom, the glory, the beauty of that for which she was made—the Kingdom of God. There she is found celebrating with Joseph Braun (husband, Mr. Handsome), Richard Steiner (husband/joy bringer), Dennis Braun (blue-eyed sunshine), Debra Steiner (heart and soul of the Steiner clan, daughter of Marlene and Richard), Eleanor Narum (family hero), Ilene Bredeson (BFF), her parents, her sister Rose Leiss (whose overflowing heart found its joy in feeding the world and all of us!), her 8 brothers— (yes, Martin Miller!), Floyd and Eleanor Rixen, George and Muggie Braun, all the Braun families and all those God placed in her life that walked alongside her.
We, Terry Braun, Joan Braun, Doug and Evon Braun, Cheryl (Braun) and Doug Barnes, Sandy (Steiner) and Ron Ferguson, Renee (Steiner) and Scott Greenwood, Laura Steiner, and Dean and Alison Steiner, along with grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, surviving sisters in law, Margaret Miller and Mary Miller, celebrate with this great communion of saints at a Mass in her honor at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Dickinson, ND.
