Funeral Mass for Margaret “Margie” Jilek, 83, of Dickinson, ND, will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 28, 2020 with Monsignor Patrick Schumacher celebrating. Burial will follow at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery in Dickinson.


Visitation for Margie will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday, January 27, 2020, at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson with a Rosary and Vigil Service taking place at 6:00 p.m.


Margie passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Country House in Dickinson.


Margaret M. Rambousek was born December 10, 1936 to Anton and Mary (Luptak) Rambousek at home in Stark County. She grew up on the family farm and attended school through the 8
th
grade at a farm school south of the farm, as well as Sts. Peter and Paul school in New Hradec. While she was at Sts. Peter and Paul school, she was a member of the Catholic Girls Society. On March 1, 1954, Margie married Anton Jilek at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in New Hradec, ND. The couple made their home on a farm near the Versippi area northeast of Dickinson. It was here where they raised their three children, Gary, Linda, and Kaye Ann. She resided on the farm until 2011 when she moved into Country House Memory Care Facility in Dickinson.


Margie enjoyed gardening, flowers, going to auction sales, collecting glassware, Restoring antique furniture, and decorating the farm for Christmas. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.


Margie is survived by her son, Gary, Dickinson, ND; two daughters, Linda (Brian) Schroeder, Dickinson, ND and Kaye Ann (Rick) Vincent, of Fairhaven, MA; Siblings, Henry (Gladys) Rambousek, Martha Marsh, and Shirley Ann Dahmus; brother-in-law, Wayne (Diane) Jilek; Grandchildren, Dustan Davis, Melissa Owen, Dakota (Shaun) Olson, Brandt (Tanya) Dick, and Brandon Vincent; great-grandchildren, Abby Davis, Jovani Owen, Olivia Olson, and one on the way; and 2 step great-grandchildren, Synphony Schroeder and Aria Schroeder.


She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Tony (Edith), Andrew, Charlie, and Joseph; Sisters, Edith, Dorothy (Andrew) Ridl, Mary Ann (John) Praus, Eleanore (Charles) Marsh, Georgina (Sylvin) Steffan, Victoria (Louis) Sadowsky; brothers-in-law, George Marsh, Paul Dahmus; grandson, Lucas Allen Jilek, and one great-grandchild.
