A funeral Mass for Margaret “Mugs” Krogh, 69, of Fairfield, will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 28, 2017 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Belfield with Father Todd Kreitinger celebrating. Burial will take place at a later date in Sts. Peter and Paul cemetery, Amidon.
Visitation for “Mugs” will be 12:00 – 8:00 pm, Friday, October 27th at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson with a rosary and vigil service being held at 7:00 pm.
Margaret passed away Monday, October 23, 2017 at Sanford Health, Fargo.
Margaret Ellen was born November 13, 1947 in Amidon, the daughter of Kenneth and Carrie Narum. She grew up with ten siblings and attended grade school in Amidon, later graduating from St. Mary’s High School of New England. Following graduation, Margaret lived in Billings, MT and Spokane, WA before returning to Dickinson to work for Jake’s Speed Print and attend Dickinson State University. Margaret married Rodney Krogh on September 30, 1978. They were blessed with two children, Kristin and Lance who also blessed them with six grandchildren. The family lived on the farm at Fairfield until moving to Oklahoma and Texas in 1992. Margaret owned a video store, worked at a grocery store and boot camp. Rodney and Margaret returned to Fairfield in 2007. She enjoyed traveling to see family and she spent many hours with her kids and grandkids, attending their school activities. Margaret will be remembered best for her caring of others, with a helping hand, a kind word, or a receptive ear!
Margaret is survived by her husband, Rodney Krogh of Fairfield; son, Lance (Vanessa) Krogh of Panhandle, TX; daughter, Kristin (Garrett) Morel of Fairfield; mother-in-law, Marionette Krogh of Dickinson; siblings, Mildred (Dick) Narum, John (Diola) Narum, Bill (Sandy) Narum, Kathy (Dean) Stevenson, Mary (Steve) Shearon, Jim (Heidi) Narum; six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Carrie Narum; brothers, Michael Narum, Tom Narum, Bob Narum and Kenneth Jr. Narum; sister-in-law, Muriel Neverdahl; father-in-law, Alvin Krogh.
