Margaret Nolte

Funeral services for Margaret Nolte, 83, formerly of Hebron, will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 1:00 pm, CST at St. John’s Church in Hebron with Pastor Gaylund Olson officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Following Margaret’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  There will be no visitation prior to the funeral.


Margaret passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Sunset Drive-Prospera Community in Mandan.


Margaret was born November 5, 1934 in Dickinson, ND.  She was the daughter of Lars and Esther (Anderson) Myran.  She grew up on a farm north of Taylor and graduated from Taylor High School.  On October 15, 1954 Margaret married Alvin Nolte.  They lived in Hebron until Alvin passed away in 2001.


In 2003, Margaret moved to Bismarck, where she met Ray Korus.  She had a special bond with Ray and his family: Deb (Lonnie), Beth (Brad), Kevin (Sherry), Ken (LeeAnn).  Ray passed away in 2014.


Margaret is survived by her daughter, Bonnie (Russ) Heinle of Hebron; grandson, Shane (Lydia) Heinle of Thief River Falls; and two great-grandsons, Zachary Heinle and Parker Heinle of Hebron.


Preceding Margaret in death were her parents; husband, Alvin; dear friend Ray; three sisters, two brothers and three brothers that died as infants.
