Dickinson

Funeral Mass for Margaret Robinson, 89, of Dickinson will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 16, 2023 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Dickinson with Father Keith Streifel celebrating.  Burial will take place in North Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Mandan on Friday.

Visitation for Margaret will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson, with rosary and vigil service taking place at 6:00 p.m.

Margaret passed away, surrounded by her family on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Hawks Point in Dickinson.

Margaret Faller was born September 30, 1934 in Dickinson, the daughter of Joseph and Catherine (Huck) Faller.  She grew up, attended St. Joseph’s Grade School and graduated from Dickinson Public High School.  Margaret then worked as a dental assistant/receptionist. 

On October 24, 1953, Margaret was united in marriage to Eugene D. Robinson at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Dickinson.  The couple made their first home in Dayton, OH, returning to Dickinson in 1954.  The couple was blessed with four children, Kim, Keith, Kurt and Patricia.  In 1987, they made a move to Milwaukee, WI, and back again to Dickinson in 1994. 

Margaret owned and operated her own ceramic business. She enjoyed dancing, bowling, playing cards, puzzles, ceramics and going to the Community Center. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. After Gene’s passing, Margaret moved to Hawk’s point where she cultivated many new friends, both residents and staff.

Margaret had been a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Dickinson and St. Roman’s Catholic Church in Milwaukee, WI.

Margaret is survived by her sons, Keith and Kurt (Gale) Robinson of Dickinson; daughter, Patricia (Patrick) Chruszch of Mukilteo, WA; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; and sister, Pauline Kessel of Dickinson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene; son, Kim; parents, Joseph and Catherine Faller; sisters, Rose Anderson and Betty Jean Faller; brothers, John (Carmen) Faller, Leo (Lu) Faller, and William (Charlene) Faller; brother-in-law, Ted Kessel; and sister-in-law, Carmen Faller.
