Liturgy of the Word for Margaret Ann Steffan, 90, of Killdeer, will be 11:00 a. m. Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson. Burial will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Dickinson, ND. Visitation will take place from 1:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. Friday, June 10, 2011 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson with a Rosary and Vigil Service at 7:00 p. m. Visitation will continue Saturday from 8:00 a. m. to 11:00 a. m. at Stevenson Funeral Home. Margaret passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at Hill Top Home of Comfort in Killdeer. Margaret Ann Bosch was born on June 11, 1920 in Killdeer, the daughter of Wendelin and Pauline (Rebsom) Bosch. On October 23, 1939, she married Pete A. Stroh and raised eight children, two sons, Emanuel and Dwaine, and six daughters, Dianne, Carol, Vernetta, Luella, Ethel and Blanche on the farm north west of Manning, North Dakota. . On August 20, 1971, she married James L. Steffan. In her early years, Margaret worked at the hospital in Dickinson. With a love for cooking, she worked at Lee?s Truck Stop and Queen City Club as a cook. She also owned and operated the Lunch Box in Killdeer, North Dakota. Margaret found enjoyment in cooking, baking, gardening, canning, knitting and sewing. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed each and every one of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Most recently, she enjoyed her new family at Hill Top Home of Comfort in Killdeer. Margaret is survived by husband Jim; five daughters, Dianne (David) Steffan of Manning, Carol Malloy of Detroit Lakes, MN, Vernetta (Don) Bice of Miles City, MT, Luella ?Lu? Larsen of Dickinson, Ethel (Bob) Wierson of Hazen; one son Emanuel (Faye) of Manning, ND; four sisters, Eleanor Nelson, Matilda Faulhauber, Veronica Faulhauber, Pauline (Albert) Schwindt; grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Blanche Hoselton; one son Dwaine; four brothers, Steve, Joseph, Martin and Anton Bosch; three sisters, Barbara Reiter, Katherine Mann and Anna Hendricks Wax.
