Margaret Williams

Funeral service for Margaret Luvenia “Patsy” Williams, 83, of Dickinson, formerly of Greenwood, Mississippi, will be 10:00 a.m. Sunday, June 6, 2021 at New Beginnings Church in Dickinson. Pastor Ron Gold will officiate.
Margaret passed away June 2, 2021 at her home in Dickinson.

Margaret was born May 20, 1938 in Highlandale, MS, the daughter of E.J. and Thora (Watson) Andrews. She married Sonny Williams on February 17, 1953 in Bolivar County, MS. She spent most of her life in Greenwood, MS where she worked at Q-Balls Barbecue before retiring in 2006 and moving to Dickinson, ND. She was a member of New Beginnings Church and the Woman’s Christian Temperance Union. Her heart was heavily involved with her church and church family.

She will be remembered as a kind, caring, and compassionate person that loved helping and tending to the needs of family and friends alike. Margaret felt that spending time with her great-grandchildren kept her young at heart. She enjoyed gardening, nature, and animals, especially birds.

Margaret is survived by her grandchildren Brien (Maranda) Gentry of Dickinson, Amanda (Jamie) Brewer of Carrollton, MS; Nolan Gentry of Dickinson; great-grandchildren Kambrie and Myla Gentry, Ashton and Brayton Schoner, Lilly Weiler, Riley (Katie) Brewer, Annie Brewer, and Lathan and Dalilah Gentry; and great-great-grandchild Waylon Brewer.

She is preceded in death by her parents E.J. and Thora Andrews, her son Sammy Williams, and her daughter, Karen Sue Gentry.
