A funeral service for Marjorie “Margie” Zillich, 92, of Taylor will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Taylor Lutheran Church with Pastor Stephen Backes officiating. Burial will take place in the Pioneer cemetery south of Taylor.
Visitation for Marjorie will be from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson with a prayer service being held at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will resume an hour prior to the funeral at the church.
Marjorie passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Richardton Health Center.

Marjorie Adele was born in Taylor on July 1, 1928, the daughter of Edmond and May (Christiansen) Luff. She grew up on the family farm south of Taylor and graduated from Taylor High School in 1946. Margie taught at Taylor Country School and worked at the S&L Clothing Store and Northwestern Bell. On November 19, 1953, Margie married John Zillich at Taylor Lutheran. Their marriage was blessed with three children, Sherry, Kevin and Perry. Margie took on the role of bookkeeper for 60 years at John’s Sinclair and John’s bus routes. She was known for making pickled pigs feet, homemade fudge, and for her homemade popcorn balls and goodie bags for the children on John’s bus routes. Margie enjoyed pinochle every Tuesday with her friends for many years. She had a love for gardening, traveling, B*I*N*G*O, and spending time with her family. Marjorie was a member of WELCA, the Taylor Senior Center treasurer, life-long member of the St. Anthony’s Club, and part of the Richardton Bowling League. She will be remembered for always having her ‘in-home grocery store’ open and a cup of coffee waiting for any visitors.
Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Sherry (Jim) Wolf of Taylor; sons, Kevin (Liz) Zillich and Perry all of Taylor; grandchildren, Kellen (Nina) Wolf, Lindsey (Ray) Boyum, Kandice (Daryl) Dvorak, Lane (Matt) Nordin, Colten Zillich, Bridget (Jordon) Zillich, Tanner (Karissa) Zillich; eleven great-grandchildren; nephew and nieces, Ron & Lucy Luff, Deb Zillich, Randy & Carla Zillich, Gary & Juliana Texley; brother-in-law, Frank Zillich of Taylor.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edmond and May Luff; husband, John Zillich; brother, Marlin (Rose) Luff; nephew, Daryl Luff.
In Lieu of Flowers, family suggests donations be made to the Richardton Health Center.
