Maria Duletsky

Funeral Mass for Maria Agnes Duletsky, 94, of Williston, formerly of Belfield are Saturday, January 4, 2003, 10:00 a. m. at St. Bernard?s Catholic Church with Father Shannon Lucht celebrating. Interment will follow at St. Bernard?s Cemetery, Belfield. Visitation is Thursday from 9:00 a. m. to 5:00 p. m. and Friday from 9:00 a. m. to 9:00 p. m. with a rosary being said at 7:00 p. m. at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel. Maria died on December 30, 2002, at Bethel Lutheran Home, Williston. Maria Agnes, daughter of John and Anna (Malkowski) Basaraba, was born September 8, 1908, in Gorham, ND, where she grew up and attended country schools. Maria married Peter Duletsky in 1931. They moved to a farm south of Belfield where they raised their four children. In 1947, they moved into Belfield while still farming. In 1978, she moved to Arizona to be closer to her daughter and in 1996, Maria moved to Williston and lived with her son, Marvin. Due to failing health she made her home in Bethel Lutheran Home for the last four years. Maria enjoyed crocheting, gardening, babysitting the neighbor kids. She was a past member St. Bernard?s Catholic Church & the Ladies Circle. She is survived by her sons, Victor (Ann) Duletsky of Sebastopol, CA, Marvin (Gertrude) Duletsky of Williston, Stanley (Pat) Duletsky of Billings, MT; daughter, Stella (Wayne) Glass of Ash fork, AZ; 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren and sisters, Kathern Palanuk of Bismarck, Pearl Wallace of Oregon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter, parents, a brother, Matt Basaraba and one grandson, Todd.
