Marian Jenkins

Visitation for Marian M. Jenkins, 78, of Glen Ullin, will be 10:00 a. m. to 11:00 a. m. , CDT, Monday, March 25, 2013 at Spangelo-Stevenson Funeral Home Chapel in Glen Ullin. Marian M. Jenkins passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Sanford Health Hospital in Bismarck, ND. Marian Magdalena Jenkins was born August 22, 1934 in Hebron, the daughter of John J. and Emma (Roth) Metzger. She was raised and educated in Hebron, graduating from Hebron High School in 1952. After graduation, she moved to Glendive, MT. Marian met Charles “Bob” Jenkins and they were married on June 14, 1953. To this union, Karen, Roberta, John and Sharon were born. The couple made their home in Glendive for several years before moving to Bedford, IN. While in Bedford, they operated their own Bicycle Repair Shop. They later retired, in 1993, to Glen Ullin where Marian has lived ever since. Marian enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, crafts and tie-blankets. No one was a stranger for long with Marian, she enjoyed visiting every chance she had. All who entered her home were guests only once because they were then considered family and treated as such. Many have called Marian “Mom” and “Grandma. “Marian is survived by her son, John Jenkins of Bedford, IN; daughters, Karen (Brian Chadwick) Stultz and Sharon Jenkins of Glen Ullin, Roberta Jenkins of Glendive, MT; step-children, Carolyn Blevins and Charles R. Jenkins III of Texas; ten grandchildren, Kathy, Michael, Justin, Jessica, Randy, Troy, Jason, Sherry, Bobby and Tommy; four great-grandchildren; and several cousins and close friends. She is preceded by her husband, Bob and granddaughter, Karen Renae. Family requests no flowers
