Funeral Services for Marian Knoebel, 77, of Killdeer, ND will be 1 p. m. , Thursday, July 3, 2008 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Killdeer, ND. Burial will follow at 3 p. m. in St. Joseph Cemetery, Dickinson, ND. Visitation will be 12 p. m. to 7 p. m. , Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Killdeer, ND. Visitation will continue on Thursday July 3, 2008 from 9 a. m. to 12 a. m. at Stevenson Funeral Home. Marian passed away Sunday June 29, 2008 at the Hill Top Home of Comfort in Killdeer with her family by her side. Marian was born February 13, 1931 the daughter of Anton and Barbara (Essert) Koffler in Dickinson, ND. She grew up and attended school at St. Joseph?s Elementary. When her schooling was complete, she worked in West Yellowstone for awhile before moving to Minneapolis, MN for several years. While in Minneapolis, she worked at Honeywell Manufacturing, during which time she met and married Myron ?Bud? Knoebel on May 23, 1969. The couple lived in various towns throughout Minnesota and southwestern ND before settling in New Hradec, ND. Marian worked at Killdeer Mountain Manufacturing during this time. After Bud passed away, she moved to Killdeer to be closer to her grandchildren. Marian moved to Hill Top Home of Comfort in 2006 and has made her home there ever since. Marian and Bud enjoyed taking road trips around the countryside and camping. She loved to sew, especially toy clothes and pajamas for her grandkids. Marian liked to read, crochet and do puzzle books. She was a wonderful cook and is best remembered for her homemade noodles and chicken noodle soup. Marian was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by: one son; Wayne (Bonnie) Witherow, Osceola, WI; three daughters; Connie (Tom) Michnowski, Cushing, WI, Lynne (Gordon) Mohl, Columbia Heights, MN and Lori (Greg) Tabor, Killdeer, ND; four brothers; Ted Koffler, Las Vegas, NV, Roger Koffler, Dickinson, ND, Jack Koffler, CA, Keith Koffler, Dickinson, ND; sister; Karen Strauser, Dickinson, ND; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Marian is preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Myron and sister, Joan Loyas
