Funeral Mass for Marian G. Suchy, 85, of Wibaux, MT formerly of Golva, ND will be at 2 p. m. , Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church Golva, ND with DDavid Richter celebrating. A Rosary Service will be held at 1:30 p. m. , Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church before the service. Burial will be in the St. John?s Cemetery south of Mandan, ND. Marian passed away Thursday, May 14, 2009 at the Wibaux County Nursing Home, Wibaux, MT. Marian Grace Suchy was born October 9, 1923 in Mandan, ND to James and Clementine (Staudinger) Suchy. She grew up and attended the Little Heart # 2 Country School south of Mandan, ND thru the 8th grade and later attended Mandan High School. Marian lived with her mother for many years. She later moved to Wibaux, MT to be closer to her sister Joan and her family. Marian has made her home at the Wibaux County Nursing Home for the last 18 years. In her younger years, she enjoyed horseback riding especially on ?Judith?. She also enjoyed singing, playing the guitar, drawing and painting pictures. She loved to have her nails and hair done and enjoyed anything ?red?. Marian looked forward to her shopping day, holidays and family gatherings. She also enjoyed embroidery and helped out with the nursing home activities. She could always be seen with her ?Big Black Purse?. In the later years, she loved to have visitors, especially babies or animals. Marian is survived by her two sisters, Joan Suchy Pavlish, Golva, ND and Dolores Suchy Sneider, Fort Collins, CO; nieces and nephews, Bunky (Ed) Nistler; Gregg (Sony) Pavlish; Stephanie Edmundson; Mary Beth (Robert) Nistler; Nancy Pavlish; Jamie (Ralph) Switzer; Brian Sneider; Roger Adams; Jimmy Adams; Becky Turner; Jim and Janet Brown; Danette, Randy, Sam, Todd and Wendy Headrick. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Doreen Brown, Claudia Adams and Gloria Headrick.
