Marie Gregory

A Memorial Service for Marie Ann Gregory, 77, of Thornton, Colorado, formerly of Dickinson will be held at 11:00 a. m. , Friday, June 5, 2015 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson with Deacon Bob Stockert, celebrating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. A rosary will be said at 10:30 a. m. on Friday at the chapel. Marie Ann passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015 in Thornton, Colorado. Marie was born October 30, 1937 on the family farm in Stark County, the daughter of Frank and Tillie (Roeder) Fischer. Marie met William V. Gregory and the couple was united in marriage on July 28, 1958 in Sheffield, ND. To this union two children were born: Patrick and Jackie. Marie lived in Arvada, Colorado and worked as a bartender; a job which she loved. Marie retired and lived with her daughter, Jackie, in Thornton, Colorado. She enjoyed softball, baseball, and football and watching the Cubs and Broncos were the highlights of each week. Marie enjoyed spending time with her two grandchildren and great-grandson. Marie is survived by her son, Patrick of Arvada, CO; daughter, Jackie Gregory of Denver, CO; two grandchildren, Justin (McKenzie) Gregory of San Diego, CA, and Candace Gregory of Arvada, CO; great-grandson, Brycen; three brothers, Stan (MaryAnn) Fischer of Laurel, MT, Jim (Georgian) Fischer of Billings, MT, Bill (Marcia) Fischer of Forsyth, MT; six sisters, Irene (Bill) Bosch of Dickinson, ND, Jeanette Jablonsky of West Sacramento, CA, Kathleen Deckert of Minot, ND, Florence (Ron) Fisher of Tucson, AZ, Bernie Fischer of Lakewood, CO, and Betty Heck of Dickinson, ND; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank; mother, Tillie; ex-husband, William; sisters, Margie Heafner and Dolores Beaudoin; two nephews, Raymond and David Bosch; and three brothers-in-law, Laverne Heck, Bob Deckert, and George Jablonsky.
