Graveside Services for Marjorie Galban 59 of Billings, formerly of Ekalaka will be 1:30 p. m. Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at Beaver Lodge Cemetery in Ekalaka, MT. A Memorial service will be held Wednesday, at 1:00 p. m. at Hope Center in Billings, MT. Margie was called home on June 10, 2006 in Billings, Montana. Margie was born in Ekalaka, MT to Lloyd and Dorothy (Peabody) Stewart on August 11, 1946. She lived and went to school in Ekalaka until 1958, when the family moved to Billings. She graduated from Senior High in 1964. Margie worked in several different occupations during her lifetime: raising kids, waitressing, cooking, milking cows on a dairy farm, truck driver and factory worker. She liked food service best of all and always went back to it. Her last employment was food service director for Ketchikan General Hospital in Ketchikan, Alaska. Margie was disabled in an accident in 1992 and moved back to Billings in 1993 to be close to her family. She came to know Jesus as her savior in Alaska and was baptized in an Alaskan lake in 1992. Her main occupation after that was helping to build God?s kingdom by leading her children to Jesus. Margie truly was a disciple of Jesus Christ because she always gave more than she had of all that she had. We learned a lot from her will to never give up and to keep going no matter what she faced. Survivors include her children: Russell Garner, Billings, MT, Shelly Peery and Randy (Karen) Peery, Denver, CO and Tim (Sinda) Peery, Boise, ID; her sisters: Dixie Epperle, Nyla (Eric) Mick and Wanda Stejer; a brother, George ( Sharon) Trenk and she had a special place in her heart for each one of her grandchildren: Ashley, Jeffrey, Quintin, Tana, Kort, Addison, Hudson, Gage and Jackson. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Glenn Stewart and her husband, Duke Galban.
