Baker

Funeral Service for Marjorie Johnson, 87, of Baker will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at American Lutheran Church in Baker with Don Buerkle and Robin Menger officiating. Burial will follow at Bonnievale Cemetery.

Visitation will take place 12:00-1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at American Lutheran Church.

Marge passed away on December 24, 2023 at Fallon Medical Complex in Baker.

Marjorie Rae Holman was born September 26, 1936 to Ray and Irene Holman. She grew up in Marmarth, ND with her twin sister, Margaret and brother Ardee. Marge married Darrell Johnson November 16, 1955. To this union a son, Cody, and daughter, Connie, was born. They lived on the 101 Ranch. Marge moved to Baker in 1983 where she started “Margettas” as she was a fantastic cook and liked all things “homemade”. After retirement she and Margret took to traveling and visiting so many new places but called Arizona home in the winter. Marge loved her kids, grandkids and great grandkids and could be found at the numerous sports activities supporting them. She loved all the sports!

Marge will be missed dearly by her son, Cody (Brenda) Johnson of Baker; daughter, Connie (Mike) Lohof of Baker; twin sister, Margaret DeGrand; grandchildren, Levi Johnson of Baker, Jasi (Frank) Swyres of Baker, Tim (Ashliegh) Tiedemann of Prescott,WA, Jay (Denise) Tiedemann and family of Reeder, ND, Crystal (Keith) Pommerning of Dayton, WA;  Misti (Ryan) Fix of Billings, Shye (Jason) Coulter of Baker, Jade (Jessica) Boggs of Baker; great grandchildren, Gentre, Canden, Hudson, Ledger, Rayce and Ridge Coulter, Kobe and Kyler Fix. Capri, Jameson and Wrigley Boggs, Hunter and Ryder Swyres, Mason, Caden, Taylor, Sirah, Viv and Vincent Tiedemann; special niece, Maranda (Rod) Turley.

Preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Irene Holman; brother, Ardee Holman; brother- in- law, Art Degrand; nephew, Art DeGrand; grandson, Bruce Tiedemann.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Marge to the American Lutheran Church in Baker or the charity of your choice.
