On June 20, 1943, she married Raymond Reich at the English Congregational Church in Hebron. They began their life together on the homestead of Ray’s father south of Antelope. Their two sons were born, Tim in 1946, and Dennis in 1947. In 1948, they purchased the farm of Marjorie’s parents and moved to that location, south of Custer’s Lookout, where they farmed and ranched until retirement. Marge and Ray were very active in soil and water conservation, received many awards for that work, and traveled extensively throughout ND and the nation together as a result of their involvement with conservation districts. Ray and Marge pioneered Charolais cattle in the Dakotas in 1957 and remained active in the purebred cattle industry until nearing retirement. In 2005, Ray and Marjorie moved to the Marian Manor Estates in Glen Ullin, and in 2007 moved into Marian Manor Healthcare Center where she and Ray celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary. To Marge, being a wife, mom and Grammy was always her primary focus. She loved to have close contact with her family and friends.
