Funeral Services for Marjorie Orlynn Sieler, 87, of Baker, MT will be 11:00 a. m. Saturday, July 14, 2007 at First Baptist Church in Baker with Pastor Levi Durfey officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot in Bonnievale Cemetery at Baker. Visitation will be 11:00 a. m. to 9:00 p. m. Friday, July 13, 2007 with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p. m. in the Chapel of Stevenson Funeral Home in Baker. Orlynn passed away on Monday, July 9, 2007 at Fallon Medical Complex Nursing Home in Baker. Marjorie Orlynn Burns was born on March 8, 1920 in Webster, SD the daughter of Lawrence and Marjorie (Moore) Burns. She graduated from Baker High School as the Valedictorian of her class in 1938. She then went on to college in Aberdeen, SD where she received her teaching degree. Orlynn married Walter Newton Sieler on October 25, 1941 in Great Falls, MT. Three daughters were born to the couple, and they raised their family in Baker, MT. Orlynn worked for the telephone company in Baker for many years. When the office moved to Glendive, MT, she made a career change, and began selling insurance until her retirement. Orlynn loved to travel and so began a series of adventures including trips to Hawaii, Alaska, Ireland and Israel. Several years later her brother Clyde convinced her to come out of retirement to work as his secretary at Western Trucking. Orlynn worked there until her second retirement in 1998. Orlynn?s love in life was her family and her church. She often made road trips with her two best coffee buddies to watch basketball games, music concerts and anything else her grandchildren were involved in. Orlynn also enjoyed playing the piano, and continued to be the pianist for her church until her last retirement. Orlynn will be remembered by her family for her kind and loving heart. She will be missed by all. Orlynn is survived by her three daughters, Marjorie Lynda (Calvin) Newell, Kalispell, MT, Carole Pauline (Danny) Alldredge, Crowley, TX and Paula Lee (Roger) Fuchs, Baker, MT; her brother, Clyde (Merri) Burns, Baker, MT; her sister, Ilene (Ron) Brander, Klamath Falls, OR; two brother-in-laws, Robert Bechtold, Plevna, MT and Ervin Brunsvold, Billings, MT; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Marjorie, her husband, Walter Sieler, two sisters, Donna Brunsvold, Dianne Bechtold and her grandson, Jeff Phillips.
