Mark William Coldwell, 46, of Baker, went home to be with his dad on Thursday, February 12, 2004 at the Fallon Medical Complex. He was born January 8, 1958, the son of Walter and Merriel Coldwell. Mark spent his childhood playing and working on the ranch south of Baker. He attended Hidden Water Rural School until it closed. Then he entered the Baker school system, graduating in the Bicentennial Class of 1976. After graduating, he wanted nothing more than to take over operation of the family ranch. This dream came true in 1981, when he and his sister, Nancy Lee, formed the Coldwell Ranch Partnership. Mark worked to improve the quality of the wool on his Rambouillet sheep and to get his dog, Dash, to listen. Mark loved his family and friends. He was a true friend to anyone lucky enough to get to know him. He loved to tell jokes and tease everyone, especially his adopted sisters, LeAnn, Cassie and Stacy. Mark also loved to visit. He was known to stop at C & S and TLC for a chat. All the kids at TLC will miss their ?Marker?. Mark re-met the love of his life, Sherry, and was becoming close to her family. He attended Lakeview Baptist Church with Sherry. The town of Baker kept up with the ?Mark and Sherry story? in the 101 news. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Walt. He is survived by his mother, Merriel of Baker; two sisters: Linda (Gary) Collins of Bend, Oregon and Nancy Lee Coldwell of Baker; brother, Alan (Cindy) Coldwell of Helena; ?brother?, John (Peggy) Lindstrom of Bowman, ND; Sherry Vogel and family of Baker; nieces: Tiffany and Ashley; nephews: Galvin, Tyler and Payden. Goodnight Sam ? love and miss you always ? Ralph.
