Martha Rounsville

A funeral Mass for Martha Rounsville, 95, of Dickinson, will be held at 10:00 a.m., MT., Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Dickinson with Father Brandon Wolf celebrating.   Burial will take place at St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Visitation for Martha will be from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Monday, March 18th at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson with a rosary and vigil service being held at 6:00 p.m.

Martha passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at St. Benedict’s Healthcare in Dickinson. 

Martha was born in Dunn County on January 8, 1929, the daughter of Frank and Agnes (Hanel) Kubas.  She married Charles Rounsville in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Mandan, ND on May 10, 1980.  Martha lived in Dickinson most of her life, working in various motels.  She was employed with the Uptown Motel for 22 years, until her retirement.  Puzzles, cross word puzzles, embroidering, playing BINGO and going for coffee with her friends were enjoyment for Martha.  She will be missed.

Martha is survived by her son, Arnold (Kathryn) Meduna of Williston; sisters, Mary Wanner of Dickinson, Angie Swenson of WA; grandson, Jason (Jessica) Meduna of Dickinson; and five great-grandchildren, Chase, Samuel, Riley, Henry and Oliver Meduna.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Agnes Kubas; husband, Charles (2009), sisters, Agnes, Mildred, Dorothy, Hattie, Victoria and Irene; brothers, Charles, Laudie, Tom, John and Emil Kubas.
