A Liturgy of the Word service for Marty Koffler, 50, of Dickinson, will be 11:00 a. m. , Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Stevenson Funeral Home with Father Keith Streifel celebrating. Burial will take place in St. Joseph’s cemetery. Visitation for Marty will be 2:00 – 8:00 p. m. , Tuesday, March 8th at the funeral home with a rosary and vigil service being held at 7:00 p. m. Marty passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016 on the family farm south of Dickinson. Marty was born October 10, 1965 in Dickinson, the son of Arnold G. and Margaret A. (Symionow) Koffler. He grew up on the family farm South East of Dickinson and attended Shipley country school before attending Hagen Jr. High and graduating from Dickinson High School in 1983. Following graduation, Marty worked at various jobs which included a filling station and the oilfield. He later turned his focus to the farm, raising dairy cattle, range cattle and farming with his parents. He was fond of the time he was able to work with his Grandpa George, who he dearly loved. Marty enjoyed snowmobiles, motorcycles and big pickups which brought him fun in the country. He truly loved the ranch and the cattle. Marty was always willing to help any of his neighbors and friends. He served his community as a proud member of the Gladstone fire department. Marty is survived by his parents, Arnold and Margaret Koffler of Dickinson; son, Collin Koffler of Belgrade, MT; brothers, Monte Koffler of Fargo and Glen Koffler of Boise, ID. He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Erin Koffler.
