Funeral Mass for Mary Dvorak, 78, of Dickinson is 10:00 a. m. , Saturday, October 29, 2005 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dickinson, with father James Braaten and Father John Mathai con-celebrating. Burial will follow at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery in Dickinson. Visitation is 12:00 p. m to 9:00 p. m. , Thursday, October 27, 2005, with a Rosary at 7:00 p. m at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel in Dickinson. Visitation will continue Friday, October 28 from 8:00 a. m. to 9:00 p. m. with a Time of Remembrance Service at 7:00 p. m. at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel in Dickinson. Mary passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at St. Luke?s Home in Dickinson. Mary Dvorak was born December 16, 1926 at St. Joseph?s Hospital in Dickinson, the daughter of Louis and Mary (Jilek) Sadowsky. Mary grew up on the Sadowsky dairy farm south of Dickinson and attended local country schools. In 1944, she married Albert Dvorak on June 6th in Dickinson. The couple made their home in Dickinson, and were blessed with fourteen children. Mary and A. R. were very proud to have owned and operated Dvorak Motor Company for nearly 40 years. During this time, Mary also had a business of her own, ?Grandma?s Daycare. ? She ran her daycare service for nearly 25 years, helping mold the lives of hundreds of children over that time. Mary truly loved spending time with her family which had grown from 14 children, to 33 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed embroidering, baking, and making her famous kolache and noodles. Mary always looked forward to ?coffee time? with her friends and was a very accomplished Whist and Scrabble player. She was a member of St. Ann?s Alter Society, Catholic Daughters, and Eagles Club Auxiliary. She is survived by eleven daughters: Shirlene (Jim, deceased) Binek, New Prague, MN, Darlene (Wally) Thompson, Dickinson, ND, Naureen (Arnie) Metz, Dickinson, ND, Colleen (Glenn) Kaisershot, Glen Carbon, Il, Mary Jean (Frank) Baysore, Aurora, CO, Sandee (Clyde) Perzinski, South Heart, ND, Debbie (Allen) Blasy, Grove City, MN, Daphne (Terry) Hutton, Parker, CO, Rhonda (Allen) Wolfe, Aurora, CO, Denice (Clarence) Roller, Bismarck, ND, Tina (Art) Bakke, Bismarck, ND; three sons: Alvin (Phyllis) Dvorak, Topeka, KS, Curt (Rita) Dvorak, Dickinson, ND, DeLayne (Kim) Dvorak, Dickinson, ND; thirty-three grandchildren; twenty four great-grandchildren; two sisters: Mildred Kaufman, Pine City, MN, Georgie Peters, Shakopee, MN; one brother: Gene Sadowsky, Albany, OR. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Albert; one brother: Edward Sadowsky and one son-in-law: Jim Binek.
