Mary Engelhart

A Liturgy of the Word service for Mary Ann Engelhart, 87, Bismarck, formerly of Dickinson, will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Stevenson Funeral Home with Deacon Bob Zent celebrating. Burial will take place at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery.


Mary Engelhart, 87, died February 19, 2017, at the Benedictine Living Center, Garrison.


Mary A. Engelhart was born December 10, 1929, in Dickinson, ND, to Adolph and Mary (Splichal) Privratsky. She married George G. Sadowsky in Dickinson on June 16, 1953 and George passed away on September 12, 1960. Together, they had two children, Reyne M (Sadowsky) White, currently living in Bismarck and Allan Sadowsky, who preceded Mary in death on February 18, 2014.


On June 8, 1985, Mary married Pius J. Engelhart in Dickinson and they moved to Bismarck. Pius passed away on October 13, 1991.


Mary will be deeply missed by her family, her daughter and son-in-law, Reyne and Bill White, Bismarck; her two granddaughters, Nicole White, Colorado Springs, CO and Christie White Bloomington, MN; her two sisters, Emma Pavlicek and Anna Binstock and, both of Dickinson.


She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands, George and Pius; her son, Allan Sadowsky; her brothers, Tony, Adolph, Frank, Pete, Louie, William, Steven and Albert; and a baby sister.
