Funeral Services for Mary L. Fulton, 72, of Dickinson will be Monday, May 19, 2014 at 10:30 a. m. at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson, ND. Burial will be in the St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Lefor, NDVisitation will be Monday, from 9:00 a. m. to 10:30 a. m. on Monday, at the Stevenson Funeral Home. Mary passed away on Monday, May 12, 2014 at the Knife River Care Center in Beulah, ND. Mary was born on July 19, 1941, the daughter of James and Magdalena (Armijo) Kacalek in California. She grew up and attended schools in California. She was married to Perry Fulton in 1959. To this union three children were born: Perry Jr. , Darlene and Teddy. They made their home in California until moving to Washington for several years. In 1974, Mary moved to North Dakota where she met Kenneth Froehlich and they have been together ever since. Mary flew to California to be closer to Darlene but she didn’t like California so she moved back to Dickinson, where Kenneth has been taking care of her since. Kenny has been her rock, her confidant and her best friend for the last 40 years. Together they have made their home in Dickinson until Mary’s health failed. Over the years she enjoyed playing cards, especially solitary, while visiting with friends and family. She also had many good times taking care of her flower gardens in California. Survivors include her children, Darlene Fulton, Redlands, CA and Perry Fulton, Liberal, Kansas; and longtime companion, Kenny Froehlich, Dickinson, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Teddy.
