Mary Graham

Mary Delores ?Biddy? Graham was born on October 28, 1934 to Elwood and Margaret (Nath) Peterson in Marmarth, ND. Biddy grew up south of Marmarth and had her first horseback ride at age 5 months. Later the family moved into Marmarth where she graduated from the eight grade. Biddy married Leslie Alvin ?Swede? Graham on June 29, 1949 in Baker, MT. Over the years she worked many jobs. She was a waitress at Sparkies and Mert?s Caf?, took in ironing, worked at Ben Franklin and the Munsell Bowling Alley. The job she loved most though was taking care of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Biddy loved to crochet and decorating her yard and house was her passion. The last project Grandma Biddy finished was having special quilts made for each of her great-grandchildren. Biddy passed away Saturday, August 12, 2006 at Fallon Medical Complex in Baker, MT. Biddy is survived by her two sons, Clayton (Mary Pat) Graham, Baker, MT and Rock (Loretta) Graham of Marmarth, ND; two daughters, Joy Duffield and Denise Shepherd, both of Marmarth, ND; four sisters, Carol (Delmar) Schramm, Hazen, ND, Jean (Russ) Finneman, Crawford, NE, Cheryl (Alvin) Linden, Walla Walla, WA and Margie Timm, Rhame, ND; a brother Dennis (Lana) Peterson, Guerney, WY; eight grandchildren, Teena (Tony) Holecek, Brad (Heidi) Duffield, Jason (Johnna) Graham, Jeremy Graham, Jarett (Trisha) Graham, Melissa Graham, David Shepherd, Janae Graham; and eleven great- grandchildren, Justyce, Daulton, Hunter, Maleah, Darian, Caleb, Logan, Paiton, Harlee, Bishop and Bohden. Her parents, Elwood and Margaret, her husband, Swede, daughter Lois Yvonne, son-in-law Doug Duffield, two brothers, Robert Peterson and Dwight Peterson and one brother-in-law Ron Timm precede her in death. Our family Chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God calls us one by one, the Chain will link again The family request memorials be made to the Marmarth Ambulance Service, P.O.
