Funeral Mass for Mary A. Kadrmas, 88, of Dickinson will be 9:30 a. m. , Friday, July 9, 2010 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Dickinson, ND with Father Jeff Zwack officiating. Burial will follow at the North Dakota Veteran?s Cemetery in rural Mandan, ND. Visitation will be from 11:00 a. m. to 9:00 p. m. on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson, ND with a Rosary and Vigil service at 7:00 p. m. Mary passed away on Monday, July 05, 2010 at St. Benedict?s Health Center in Dickinson. Mary Ann Kadrmas was born September 6, 1921 to John and Alexandria (Yarschenko) Truchan in Glen Ullin, ND. She grew up on the farm in Glen Ullin before moving Southeast of Manning, ND. After country school, she worked as a waitress until she met and later married Laudie Kadrmas on November 8, 1944 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dickinson, ND. After marriage, while Laudie was in the service, Mary continued to work as a waitress. When Laudie returned from the war, the couple purchased a farm three miles West of Manning. They lived and worked on the farm until moving to Dickinson in 2003. Mary loved to dance and listen to music. She enjoyed playing cards and cooking, especially her doughnuts for her family. Mary?s family meant the world to her. She put the needs of her family always before her own. Mary is survived by her three children, Delores (Ron) Johnson, Oregon City, OR, Darleen Huber, Wolf Point, MT and Elroy (Susan) Kadrmas, Bismarck, ND; grandchildren, Leslie (John) Yoder, Aaron (Alexis) Johnson, Susan (Chris) Lawrence, Lisa (Brian) Reiter, Tom (Theresa) Huber, Jared Huber, Katharine Kadrmas and Emily Kadrmas; 11 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Leona Kadrmas and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Laudie, son-in-law, Don Huber, three brothers and two sisters.
