Mary Kaiser

Funeral service for Mary E. Kaiser, 96, of Dickinson, ND will be 1:00 p. m. Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Stevenson Funeral Home, with Pastor Cal Oraw officiating. Burial will follow in the Dickinson Cemetery.


Visitation will be from 9:00 a. m. to 1:00 p. m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Stevenson Funeral Home.


Mary passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013.


Mary Kaiser was born December 2, 1916 on the family farm near Regent, ND to Frederick and Emilia (Lutz) Kaiser. In 1923, the family moved to a farm near New England. She attended school at the Rifle Township country school. On May24, 1936, Mary became a member of Zion Lutheran Church. In 1949, the family moved to Dickinson and this is where Mary has made her home ever since. Once she settled in Dickinson, Mary joined St. John Lutheran Church and began her career as a childcare provider.


Mary is survived by sister-in-law, Marie Kaiser, Park Rapids, MN; nieces, Nita Disney, Park Rapids, MN, Margaret (David) Swartz, Oak Brook Terrace, IL, Roberta (Bruce) Bishop, Bismarck, ND and Carol (Peter) Hazlet, Aurora, CO; nephews, Keith (Robin) Kaiser, Red Wing, MN, Kenneth (Athena) Kaiser, Bethesda, MD; and great and great-great nieces and nephews.


Mary is preceded in death by; both parents and a brother, Robert Kaiser, nephew, Del Disney, great-nephew Skeeter Disney.
