Funeral services for Mary Ann Kjos, 66, of Dickinson, ND, will be 10:00 a. m. , Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dickinson with Rev. Jim Braaten celebrating. Burial will be in the St. Mary?s Catholic Cemetery, Richardton, ND. Visitation will be 2:00 p. m. to 7:00 p. m. , Monday, September 6, 2010 at the Stevenson Funeral Home with a Rosary and Vigil Service being recited at 4:00 p. m. Deacon Gene Morman will be officiating. Visitation will continue on Tuesday one hour prior to the Funeral Mass at the Stevenson Funeral Home. Mary Ann passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at St. Joseph?s Hospital in Dickinson. Mary Ann Leintz was born on September 15, 1943 the daughter of Edmund and Cecilia (Hauck) Leintz on a farm in Dunn County. She moved with her family as a young girl to Milwaukee, WI where she graduated from high school and attended a year of college. She moved back to North Dakota to help take care of her mother. Mary Ann was married to Dean Kjos on November 30, 1963 in New Rockford, ND. To this union four children were born: Lori, Tim, Randy and Jeff. Mary Ann enjoyed crafts of all types as well as playing bingo which she called her work in later years. Her good friend Eileen was her favorite bingo partner. She also enjoyed music and played the accordion and organ. She was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dickinson. Mary Ann always loved and enjoyed her children and grandchildren and getting together with all of the family. She always made hand painted T-shirts for her grandchildren on special occasions, which they will always cherish. Survivors include, her husband, Dean, Dickinson, ND; a daughter, Lori (Eric) Moldenhauer, Wright, WY; three sons, Tim (Lori) Kjos, Gillette, WY, Randy (Nickie) Kjos, Dickinson, ND, and Jeff Kjos, Dickinson, ND; a sister, Jane (Michael) Miller, Rangely, CO; five brothers, Ralph (Casey) Leintz, Tomahawk, WI, Pete (Jane) Leintz, FL, Leonard Leintz, Slinger, WI, Edward (Pam) Leintz, Atlanta, GA and Frank (Bonnie) Leintz, Fruita, CO; fifteen grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister-in-law, Sharon Leintz.
