Mary Kostelecky

Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Ann Kostelecky, 63, Dickinson, will be at 10 a. m. Friday, February 23, 2007 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dickinson. Interment will be in the North Dakota Veteran?s Cemetery, Mandan, ND on Monday, February 26. Visitation will be 9 a. m. to 9 p. m. , Thursday, February 22, 2007 at Stevenson Funeral Home with a Rosary and Prayer Service at 7:00 p. m. led by Deacon Gene Morman. Mary Ann passed away February 19, 2007 at St. Alexius Hospital in Bismarck. Mary Ann was born March 8, 1943 to Andrew and Dorothy (Rambousek) Ridl in Dickinson, ND. She grew up and attended schools in South Heart where she graduated from high school. On June 25, 1962, Mary Ann married Ron Kostelecky at New Hradec, ND. They then moved to the Kostelecky family farm where they lived, farmed and raised their family. They grew small grain crops, and raised beef cattle and dairy cattle. In June 2005, they moved into Dickinson where they made their home since. Mary Ann enjoyed played bingo and collected Pepsi memorabilia. She also enjoyed listening to old time music, and was a wonderful cook. She was a member of the New Hradec Altar Society, St. Anthony Club, and St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. Mary Ann loved and enjoyed her two daughters and her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Ron of Dickinson; two daughters: Lynette (Roger) Kessel of Fairfield, ND, Lisa (Russ) Hendericks of Bismarck; one sister: Paulette (Andrew) Praus of Dickinson, four grandchildren: Devon and Brittany Kessel, and Cole and Megan Hendericks; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
