Funeral Mass for Mary Kuefler, 93 of New England, will be 10:30 a. m. Monday, December 27, 2010 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church, New England with Father Patrick Moore, O. S. B. celebrating. Burial will follow in St. Mary?s Cemetery. Visitation for Mary will be Sunday, December 26, 2010 from 5:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. at St. Mary?s Catholic Church with a Rosary and Vigil Service taking place at 6:30 p. m. Mary passed away Monday, December 20, 2010 at the West River Medical Center in Hettinger. Mary Francis Klemisch was born March 4, 1917 in Langdon, the daughter of Julies and Mary (Grimshaw) Klemisch. She grew up and attended school in Langdon. On October 17, 1933, Mary married Earl Prince. Five children were born to this union: Wayne, Margeen, Sandra, Gary and Linda. The family lived in Bemidji and Duluth, Minnesota. Mary then moved to Langdon and married Richard Kuefler on June 15, 1961. The couple moved to New England in 1974 where they made their home ever since. During this time, Mary worked at New England Library until she retired in 2005. She entered Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Mott in February of 2009. Mary enjoyed quilting, collecting rocks and spending time with her grandkids. She was a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church and Ladies Guild as well as a 36 year member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Mary is survived by her two sons, Wayne (Roberta) Prince of Duluth, MN and Gary (Sherry) Prince of Minneapolis, MN; three daughters, Margeen (Roger) Olson of Coeur d?Alene, ID, Sandra (Tom) Stepp of New England and Linda (John R. ) Plaggemeyer of New England; two sisters; 19 Grandchildren; 37 Great-Grandchildren; 23 Great-Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great-Great Grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Julies and Mary; her husband, Richard Kuefler and six siblings.
