Mary Malone, 90, Dickinson, died Tuesday, August 30, 2005, at St. Benedict?s Health Center, Dickinson. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a. m. Saturday, September 3, 2005, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Dickinson with Fr. Jim Braaten, celebrating. Interment will be in St. Patrick?s Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be 9 a. m. to 9 p. m. , Friday, September 2, 2005, at Price-Murphy Funeral Home. The Catholic Daughters Court St. Catherine #323 will say rosary at 7 p. m. with a vigil service led by Deacon Gene Morman to follow. Mary Zastoupil was born September 10, 1914, in Dickinson, to John and Mary (Tuma) Zastoupil. She was raised and educated in Dickinson. Mary attended St. Joseph?s Grade School and graduated from Dickinson Normal School in 1934. She worked at various jobs prior to her marriage to Edward Malone on August 30, 1938, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dickinson. Mary?s mother was a pioneer born north of Dickinson on December 10, 1886. Mary and her sisters were Daughter Pioneers of which Mary was President for a number of years until they disbanded. She was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Life Member and Past President of V. F. W. Auxiliary, St. Ann?s Altar Society, Christian Mothers, Christian Mothers Rosary Group and Life Member of the Peace Officers Association. She devoted her life to her husband and the care of her children. She will be deeply missed and remembered by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is survived by: two sons, Patrick (Jane), California, Md. and Eddie, Jr. (Carol), Mill Creek, Wash. ; four daughters, Mary Jane (Dennis) Job, Snohomish, Wash. , Kathy (Rolen) Wegner, Lynnwood, Wash. , Margaret ?Peggy? (Michael) Hart, Portland, Ore. and Joan Malone, Eugene, Ore. ; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Frances Andrews, Dickinson and Dorothy Chandler, Seattle, Wash. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Edward; parents, John and Mary Zastoupil; one son, Dennis; one infant daughter, Molly; three sisters, Betty Killian, Josephine Dew and Amy Rhoades; five brothers, John, Robert, Albert, William and Anton Zastoupil.
