Funeral Mass for Mary Maupin, 89, of Dickinson will be held at 1:00 p. m. , Thursday, January 13, 2011 at St. Patrick?s Catholic Church with Father Keith Streifel celebrating. Burial will be held later this spring at Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery, New Hradec. Visitation for Mary will be from 1:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. , Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson with a Rosary and Vigil service at 6:00 p. m. Visitation will continue from 8:00 a. m. to 12:00 p. m. , Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson. Mary passed away Friday, January 7, 2011 at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center, Bismarck, ND. Mary Fisher was born June 1, 1921 in South Heart, the daughter of Vincent and Anna (Ficek) Fisher. She was raised on the family farm near South Heart. Mary lived most of her life in Dickinson where she raised her two daughters, Bonnie and Karen. In 1974, Mary married Joe Maupin and the couple made their home in Bismarck. After Joe passed away, she returned to Dickinson and has made her home here ever since. Mary enjoyed spending time fishing at the lake with Joe, playing whist, completing word search puzzles and reading. St. Patrick?s Catholic Church was a very important part of her life. Mary is survived by her two daughters, Bonnie (Rod) Rosene, Bismarck and Karen Molnar, Santa Ana, CA; one brother, Joe (Clara) Fisher, Dickinson; one sister, Martha Kadrmas, Dickinson; one sister-in-law, Gladys Fisher, Dickinson; six grandchildren, Joe Froehlich, Dickinson; Al Froehlich, Dickinson; Michele (Jerry) Massee, Bismarck; Frank (Stacy) Molnar, Battlefield, MO; Tonya (Jose) Hernandez, Santa Ana, CA and Cory Molnar, Santa Ana, CA; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; a special friend, Betty Frank, Dickinson; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Anna Fisher; her husband, Joe; three brothers, Adolph, Albert and Vincent Fisher; two sisters, Emma Dvorak and Mildred Kadrmas and two infant siblings.
