Funeral Mass for Mary Privratsky, 78 of Dickinson will be 10:00 a. m. Monday, May 16, 2005 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dickinson with Father Jerome Kautzman celebrating. Burial will follow in St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery in Dickinson. Visitation will be Saturday, May 14, 2005 from 1:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. , continuing on Sunday from 9:00 a. m. to 9:00 p. m. with a Rosary and Vigil Service at 7:00 p. m. at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel. Mary passed away Thursday, May 12, 2005 at her home in Dickinson. Mary was born on October 1, 1926, the daughter of George J. and Margaret (Koffler) Olheiser in Mott, ND. She attended St. Joseph?s grade school through the 7th grade, then country school, and later correspondence school. She moved into town and began working at Binek?s Caf? for several years. Mary was married to Frank Privratsky on October 2, 1945 in the St. Joseph?s Catholic Church in Dickinson. Frank & Mary continued to make Dickinson their home where they raised their only daughter, Linda. She later worked in Food Service at Woolworth?s for 25 years. Mary purchased The Husky Caf? which she operated for 17 years. At the age of 65, Mary semi-retired and continued to make Dickinson her home. For several years she helped out as a Senior Companion. Due to failing health, she made her home at Villard Terrace where she was still able to help with the Senior Companion program. Mary was a member of the VFW Ladies Aid, the American Legion Auxilary, Court St. Francis #323 Catholic Daughters, and St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dickinson. She enjoyed playing cards, Bingo, & Barbies with her great-granddaughters and the friendship of her sister-in-law, Lillian Privratsky. Mary especially loved and treasured the company of her daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter, Linda (Ray) Schaff, Dickinson; one brother, Tom (Sandy) Olheiser, White Bear Lake, MN; four sisters, Magdalen (Lene) Allen, Huachaca City, AZ; Viola (Bill) Gralish, Hugo, MN; RoseAnn Olheiser White Bear Lake, MN; and Bernice (Tom) Lunzer, Vadnais Height, MN; four grandchildren, Rhonda Schaff, RaeLynn (Lane) Droog, Greg (Bobbi) Schaff and Gary Schaff (special friend, Cheri Bachmeier), and four great-grandchildren, Brent and Haley Droog, Kaylee and Krista Schaff and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers, Joe, Bill, Robert, George, and Richard, and a sister, Delores Privratsky.
