Mary Schnell

Prayer service for Mary (Tooley) Schnell, 56, of Vida, OR, formerly of Dickinson, ND, will be 11:00 a. m. Friday, November 14, 2008 at Stevenson Funeral Home with Deacon Tony Wanner officiating. Mary passed away Saturday, October 5, 2008 in Springfield, OR, after a lengthy battle with colon cancer. Mary Tooley was born September 4, 1952 in Dickinson, ND to Percy and Monica (Kary) Tooley. She grew up and completed her schooling in Dickinson. On January 6, 1971 Mary married Dan Schnell in Dickinson. She studied nursing at Lane Community College. Mary worked as a waitress at the Red Lion Motel in Springfield from 1980 to 1983 and a bank teller at Pacific First Federal Bank from 1983 to 1986. She also worked as a loan officer for Western Bank from 1986 to 1988 and for Washington Mutual from 1988 to 1994. Mary is survived by her husband, Dan, Vida, OR; daughter, Betty Field, Rapid City, SD; son, Wesley, Salem, OR; two brothers, Darrell (Patti) Tooley, Dickinson, ND and David (Bette) Tooley, Hunter, ND; sister, Carol Tooley, Dickinson, ND and two grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Donald
