Mary Wolf

Mary Margaret Wolf passed away on Monday, April 24, 2017 at Sanford Health in Bismarck. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Dickinson, ND, at 10 am on Friday, April 28th, with Father Todd Kreitinger celebrating. Lunch will be served at the Biesiot Activities Center, with burial to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Beulah.


Visitation for Mary Margaret will be at Stevenson Funeral Home on Thursday, April 27th, from 2-7 pm, with a rosary & vigil service being held at 6 pm.


Mary Margaret was born on March 12, 1937, at St. A’s Hospital in Bismarck, ND. Daughter of Carl and Marguerite Herman, Mary Margaret graduated from Beulah High School and Dickinson State University. On June 14, 1958, she married Dennis Wolf. They had three children; Karla, Michael, and Kathy.


Mary Margaret’s faith was very important to her, and she attended daily mass and rosary. She enjoyed riding horse, dancing (especially polka), skiing, playing cards, and spending time at the farm. She was a 4-H leader, Girl Scout leader, Mardi Gras chair, State Medical Auxiliary president, member of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem, member of Catholic Daughters, and Chapter B, PEO president. She was active in St. Patrick’s church, and was blessed to have taught 40 years. She enjoyed the wonderful students and parents that she met during this time.


Mary Margaret enjoyed spending time with the family and attending activities with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by husband, Dennis Wolf; sister, Marleen Schnaidt, sister, Karen Heth; brother, Darell (Sherry) Herman; daughter, Karla (Mark) Zastoupil, son, Michael (Lori) Wolf, daughter, Kathy Wolf; grandchildren, Megan (Tony) Rosten, Tyler (Nicole) Lennick, Alexander Lennick, Evan Zastoupil, Kira Zastoupil, Samantha Wolf, Miranda Wolf, Stephanie Wolf, and Katlynn Wolf; great-grandchildren, Kade, Quinn and Grace Rosten, Noah and Beau Lennick; and many special nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She is preceded in death by her father and mother.
