MayBelle Fehr, 89, of the Missouri Slope Care Center in Bismarck and formerly of Hebron, died Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at the Care Center. Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm Central Time on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at the First Baptist Church of Hebron. Burial will be in the United Methodist Cemetery in Hebron. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9 am until the funeral time at the church. May Belle was born at New Salem on December 18, 1918, the daughter of Hector and Mary (Hartmann) DeClercq. She was raised and educated at New Salem, Glen Ullin and Hebron. She married Henry Fehr June 12, 1938 at Beach, ND. Following marriage, May Belle was a devoted homemaker for her children and husband. She was active in the United Methodist Church and the women?s group of the church. MayBelle loved to cook and bake, and enjoyed crossword and word search puzzles. When her health declined she moved to Bismarck, where she has resided since. Grateful for having shared in her life are her children Adrian and Donna Fehr, Faith Ann Harrison, and Rick and Netty Fehr, all of Bismarck, ND, Mark and Karen Fehr, Dickinson. Five grandchildren Nancy Harrison, Michael Harrison, Bryan (Cheryl) Fehr, Derrick (Nicole) Fehr, and Jon Fehr, and great Grandchildren Melinda Harrison, Conner Fehr, Grace Fehr, Samantha Franz, Austin Franz, and Cole Franz. She is also survived by her sister, Laura Pfleiger, Portland, OR; and a brother, Ernest DeClercq, Helena, MTShe was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her brother, Jesse, Esther, Erna, Ruby, and Gloriann.
