Mayme Klemisch, 78, New England, N. D. , died Wednesday, January 8, 2003, at her home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a. m. Saturday, January 11, 2003, at St. Mary?s Catholic Church, New England, with the Reverend Bill Cosgrove celebrating. Interment will be in St. Mary?s Cemetery, New England. Visitation will be Saturday at the church one hour prior to the service. Mayme Schultz was born May 15, 1924, to Neil and Clara (Eng) Schultz. Mayme was educated in the Langdon area. She married Anthony ?Tony? J. Klemisch in Langdon. She worked for many years as a seamstress. They lived there until 1963, when they moved to Los Angeles, Calif. While in California she helped organize the volunteer program for a local Meals-on-Wheels and worked there for many years. In 1989, they retired and moved to New England, ND. Tony died December 3, 1989. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, fishing, and camping. Mayme Klemisch is survived by two sisters, Clarabelle Trudeau, Sun City, Calif. and Darlene Cummings, Grand Forks; sister-in-law, Mary (Klemisch) Kuefler, many nieces and nephews, including, John and Linda Plaggemeyer, Twig and Wendy Zahn, all of New England. She was preceded in death by: her husband; her parents; three brothers and five sisters.
