Funeral Mass for Micheal LeMay, 62, of Dickinson, will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2025, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, with Father Brandon Wolf celebrating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s cemetery, Dickinson.
Visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Stevenson Funeral Home with a Vigil Service taking place at 6:00 p.m.
Micheal passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025 at his home, surrounded by his family.
Micheal Wesley LeMay was born July 25, 1962, in Kansas City, MO to James LeMay and Meta (Dugan) Blue. He spent his younger years growing up in Kansas City, MO and Northern California attending school and graduating high school. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corp and served for over 10 years both active and reserve. Micheal spent over 25 years working in the oilfield throughout TX, WY, ND and MT. He started in the lab, moving to field engineer, operation supervisor, and plant manager. He loved working with the guys and in the field. After retiring from the oilfield, he started his own business. He was an agent and financial planner with New York Life and Prudential. He was such a hard worker his coworkers nicknamed him “Le-Mazing.” He enjoyed his children and grandchildren and never passed an opportunity to teach them.
When Micheal wasn’t working he was busy fixing and repairing around the house or automobiles. He had a great sense of humor. Micheal loved and spoiled his wife, opening the car door and holding her hand at every opportunity. He was a member of Stark County Planning and Zoning Committee and a member of Dickinson Chamber of Commerce. He also loved traveling on his Harley Davidson with Cathy throughout the Midwest. He was also fond of Mustangs and going to the gun range with his son.
He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years Cathy of Dickinson; children, Jami (Daniel); Jonathan; Jennifer (Jordan) all of Dickinson; grandchildren: DJ, Jason, Luke, Porschea, Hunter, Kimber; brother, Mathew and father, James of Aurora, CO; mother, Meta of Newton, KS.
He is preceded in death by his bonus mother, Nyla.
