Mildred Mary Binstock was born on September 17, 1917, in Dunn County, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Kostelecky) Bezdicek. She grew up and attended country school in the New Hradec area. As a young girl, she helped her parents with the farm chores and taking care of the family. Mildred was united in marriage to Anton”Tony” Binstock on June 1, 1937. To this union six children were born: Gordon, Gladys, Raymond, Laudie, Shirley, and Terry. Together they farmed and raised the family near New Hradec. The family moved to several different communities throughout their life, finally settling in the Dickinson area where they retired. Mildred was a member of the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in New Hradec. Due to failing health, Mildred entered St. Benedict’s Health Center in 2011, making it her final home. Mildred enjoyed camping, fishing, making tissue flowers, quilting, embroidery, cooking, raising and hatching chickens and bingo. On Sundays she enjoyed listening to old time music. She especially loved and enjoyed her children and grandchildren. Mildred was always willing to go with the flow and do whatever everyone else was doing.
