Funeral Mass for Mildred Hlebichuk, 88, of Belfield, ND will be 10:00 a. m. Thursday, October 1, 2009 at St. Bernard?s Catholic Church, Belfield. Burial will follow at St. Bernard?s Catholic Cemetery, BelfieldVisitation will take place from 9 a. m. to 9:00 p. m. Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson with a Rosary and Vigil Service taking place at 7:00 p. m. Mildred passed away Sunday, September 27, 2009 at St. Benedict?s Health Center in Dickinson. Mildred A. Livinonik was born July 7, 1921 to Casper and Tekla (Honcharek) Livinonik in Belfield, ND. She grew up and attended schools in Belfield graduating from Belfield High School in 1940. On June 27, 1940, Mildred and Mike F. Hlebichuk were married in Belfield, ND. Together they made their home and farmed 9 miles north of Belfield from 1946 to 1988. Mildred worked at the Truck Stop as a waitress from 1968 to 1969. They then moved into Dickinson in 1988. She enjoyed cooking, baking, entertaining, playing cards and watching bull riding. Mildred was a member of St. Bernard?s Catholic Church and also the Ladies Guild. She is survived by her sons; Don (Lauretta) Hlebichuk, Spring Hill, KS and Fred (Pepper) Hlebichuk, Sioux Falls, SD; a daughter, Diana (Deacon Al) Schwindt, Dickinson, ND; one daughter-in-law, Regina Hlebichuk, Sioux Falls, SD; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Mildred is preceded in death by both parents, husband, Mike F. ; 5 brothers and 5 sisters. Family suggests memorials to American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
