Funeral Mass for Mildred Wolberg, 84, of Dickinson, 8:00 a. m. , Saturday, October 1, 2011, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, with Father Jeff Zwack, celebrating. Burial will be in the St. Patrick?s Cemetery in Dickinson, ND. Visitation will be from 12:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. Friday, September 30, 2011 with a prayer service taking place at 6:00 p. m. Visitation will continue on Saturday one hour prior to the service at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Mildred passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at St. Benedict?s Health Center in Dickinson. Mildred Kralicek was born on September 23, 1927 the daughter of Joseph V. and Eleanore (Kadrmas) Kralicek in Dunn County. She grew up on the family farm 10 ? miles northeast of Dickinson. Mildred received her elementary education at the Tabor School, Dist. #34 in Dunn County. She then attended Model High School in Dickinson were she gradated from high school. Mildred was married to Joseph V. Wolberg on October 22, 1946 at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in New Hradec, ND. To this union three children were born, Eugene, Gerald and Donna. Joe and Mildred purchased the Kralicek family farm and together with there family farmed for 17 years. They moved to Dickinson in 1965. Mildred went back to school and received her L. P. N. degree at Dickinson State College. After graduating, she worked at St. Joseph Hospital and at the clinic in Dickinson. Mildred retired in 1988 and continued to make her home in Dickinson. Mildred enjoyed reading, sewing, quilting, painting, baking and getting together with her friends. She especially loved her family, always looking forward to seeing her children and grandchildren. Her family was such a delight to her and was always interested in her children and grandchildren?s accomplishments. Mildred was a member of the Czeck Heritage Center and Catholic War Veterans. Mildred is survived by her son, Jerry (Estelle) Wolberg of Dickinson; a daughter, Donna (Rob) King of Bismarck; one daughter-in-law, Rena Wolberg of Oceanside, CA; one sister, Irene Anderson of Dickinson; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph V. and Eleanore Kralicek, her husband, Joseph Wolberg; one son, Eugene Wolberg; one brother, Charles Kralicek and one sister, Tillie Pribyl.
