Minnie Koffler

Mass of Christian Burial for Minnie Koffler, 79, of Dickinson, is Friday, July 4, 2003, 10:00 a. m. at St. Mary?s Catholic Church, New England with Father William P. Cosgrove, celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Mary?s Cemetery, New England. Visitation is Thursday from 6:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. at Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel with a rosary and vigil being said at 7:00 p. m. Minnie passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2003 at St. Benedict?s Health Center. Minnie (Kuntz) Koffler was born on September 22, 1923 to Whilhemena (Greff) Kuntz and Martin Kuntz north of Regent, North Dakota. The family then moved to a farm north of Mott, North Dakota were she lived until going to work in Dickinson, North Dakota at George Berzel Bakery, then at Woolworths until marrying George Koffler Jr. in St. Joseph?s Church in Dickinson, North Dakota on February 8, 1944. They lived on a farm north of Lefor, North Dakota for two years, then moved to a farm southwest of Dickinson for one year until moving to their present farm northwest of New England, North Dakota in 1947, where she resided until entering St. Benedicts in May of 2001. She enjoyed gardening and flower gardens along with playing cards, bingo, doing puzzles, crocheting and fishing. Minnie compiled a book that covered 133 years of the Kuntz family history and 121 years of the Koffler family history. She was a member of the St. Pius Verien and was on the St. Mary?s Alter Guild for many years. She is survived by her husband George of 59 years, children: Georgianne (Herman) Kubischta of Belfield, North Dakota, Darlene (Alvin) Meier of Dickinson, Connie (Butch) Pribyl of Dickinson, Patti Juliano of New England, Allan (Francine) Koffler of New England, Faye Wolf of Dickinson, Martin Koffler of New England, Vicki Madler, Ceder Rapids, Iowa, and Tina (Paul) Gullickson of New England, six sisters: Elizabeth Jordon, Eva Wanner, Ann Heidt, Helen Mullen, Cecilia Jorgensen all of Dickinson, and Tillie (Leo) Stein of Gladstone, twenty-three grandchildren, one step grandchild, and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers: Martin, Vincent, Henry, Peter, and an infant brother Anothony and an infant sister Margrete, two sons: Jeffery and Larry, one daughter: Janice, two son-in-laws: Jules Juliano and Dr. Norman Ordahl, and three infant grandchildren. Memorials are preferred to St. Benedicts Health Center or the charity of your choice.
