Monica Erhart

A funeral mass for Monica Erhart, 105, of Glen Ullin will be 11:00 a.m. CT, Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Jeff Zwack celebrating. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.


Visitation for Monica will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. CT, Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.


Monica passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the Napoleon Care Center in Napoleon, ND.


Monica was born April 2, 1912 in Grant County to Joseph and Rose (Doll) Veitenheimer. She graduated from Glen Ullin High School.  Monica married Christ Erhart on November 5, 1935 in Glen Ullin.  They were blessed with three children. Monica was a member of Christian Mother’s Society. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, and baking.


Monica was a lifelong resident of Glen Ullin except for the last eleven and a half years, when she moved to Hazelton for ten years and then to Napoleon Care Center.


Monica is survived by her children, Vernon Erhart, Deanna DelaBarre, and James Erhart; Grandchildren, Alan (Kerstan) Erhart, Keith (Laurie) Erhart, Rowene (Dave) Sheen, Glenn (Gina) DelaBarre, Mae Greta DelaBarre, Aaron Erhart, Dustin Erhart, Bryce (Melissa) Erhart, and Jared (Michelle) Erhart; many Great-Grandchildren; one Great-Great-Grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.


Monica was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Rose; her husband, Christ; seven sisters; and four brothers.
