Funeral Mass for Monica Kennedy, 87, of Denver, formerly of Dickinson will be 10:00 a. m. Friday, Sept. 10, 2004 at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Dennis Schafer officiating. A Rosary and Vigil will be held on 7:00 p. m. , Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004 in the Stevenson-Mischel-Olson Chapel. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Monica passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2004 in Denver. She was born on January 2, 1917 near Amidon, ND the daughter of Nick and Adeline (Kopp) Frederick. Monica attended schools in New England. She was married to Haven Kennedy in June of 1944 in Rochester, MN. Haven passed away in 1984. Monica has made her home in Denver to be closer to her two children for the last several years. She was a memeber of the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church of Dickinson and the German-Hungarian Club. Monica is survived by two chidlren: Bonnie (Robert) Carter and James (Priscilla) Kennedy both of Denver; three sisters: Rose Johnson and Mary Zieman, OR and Frances Meyer, Dickinson; and five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great granchildrenShe was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, four sisters and a grandson.
