Montie Nagel

A Funeral Service for Montie Ann Yarger Nagel, 66 of Sturgis, SD formerly of Shelby and Circle, MT will be at 2:30 p. m. on Saturday, October 16, 2010, in the Chapel of Stevenson Funeral Home in Baker, MT with Pastors Bruce and Reba Kolasch officiating. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p. m. on Saturday, October 23, 2010, at Whitted Funeral Home in Shelby, MT. In honoring Montie?s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private inurnment will be held at a later date. Montie passed away on Monday, October 11, 2010, at her ranch home east of Sturgis, SD. Montie Ann Yarger was born Jan 11, 1944, in Miles City, MT a daughter of Grace (Gardner) and Dan Yarger. Montie grew up in Brockway and Circle MT. Montie married Ernie Nagel in Glendive, MT on August 22, 1964. To this union, Niki (Kevin) Junso, Bodil (Jay) Lanius, Shelly (Don) Adair were born. Montie dearly loved her grandkids and enjoyed spending time with them. She was an avid gardener, was a great cook, and loved to watch bull riding . She loved fishing and spending time with the family. She recently started a new life with her friend Bob Penn on their ranch at Sturgis, SD. Montie is survived by her sister, Bonnie Bergerson of Miles City, MT; her two brothers, Tommy (Laurienna) Yarger of Conrad MT and Carl John Rice of Kansas; her children; 6 grandchildren; Matthew Junso, Zachary Morasko, Samantha Frank, Joshua Morasko, Dylan Frank, and Cole Junso; one great-granddaughter, Avanlee Ty Junso and numerous nieces and nephews. Montie was preceded in death by her parents Dan and Grace Yarger-Rice, her step-father, Carl Rice, her brother, John Yarger and grandson Tyler Junso. Montie will be dearly missed by all that loved her and will always have a special place in our hearts.
