Neil O'Connor

Neil O’Connor, 93 was born on May 24, 1911 the son of Arthur & Mabel (Johnson) O?Connor in Winnebago, NE. He grew up and attended schools in Carter County and Baker. Neil passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at the Billings Health & Rehabilitation Community, in Billings, Montana. Neil was married to Jeannie Anderson in Baker, Montana on May 12, 1936. To this union three children were born; Neil Jr. Mike & Jeannie. They ranched in Carter County for many years. Neil loved and cherished the cowboy way of life, spending his entire life out on the ranch. He enjoyed hunting in his younger years and having coffee with his friends at Lou?s. Neil retired in 1972 and has made Ekalaka his home since. Survivors include, two sons, Neil Jr. (Sheila) O?Connor, Baker; Mike (Brenda) O?Connor, Billings, MT; a daughter, Jeannie (Joe) Padden, Camp Crook, SD; 17 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren & five great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents & wife Jeannie on November 8, 1980 and a son.
