Nellie was a very adventurous young woman, full of life and vigor. One of Nellie?s favorite horses was named Pride. Nellie and Pride had quite the adventures?one of those adventures of Pride and Nellie included the red wagon. Nellie hooked Pride up to the wagon and got him going fortunately before she got into the wagon as the wagon took flight as Pride took off. Nellie was a thinker coming up with ways to get little sister up on to the horse with her. As Nellie got a brother and sister more proficient at ridding the new game was playing Cowboys and Indians on horseback with Frank and Sheila. She enjoyed haying and was very proud of how many bales she could stack and her strength. In 1982, she went on a road trip with her sister Sheila from Montana to North Carolina.
